Building Blazer still

Lookin good, but no dimple holes? How you gonna be a baller without dimple holes? :flipoff7:

helluva a weekend Mike, sorry to hear about the boy, that's got to be a just a devastating experience for the family.
Truck looks good Mike, they do nice work!

So I will not be able to pick up "THUMPER" untill the 19th of January 2013. The plan is to drive to Fruita Colorado & pick up the Blazer from S&S Metal Works then go to Grand Juction to run 21 Road if anyone is interested??:dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno:
I spoke with Sean from S&S and since THUMPER is going to be there for awhile he is going to put a paint job on it for me instead of the rattle can paint I have on it now. He is also going to install LED Rock Lights & a LCD for a rear camera so I can see what is behind me! The Blazer is big!:whistle:I don't want to run anyone over!:haha:
I am excited!:woot:THUMPER is gonna be cool or cooler now that everything will be done and all I get to do is drive it!!:D I can't wait!!!:waytogo:

Like the work Mike, and the skid is killer too! It seems somewhat familiar?

Here are a couple of reasons for doing this. First one is the most important!:waytogo:
The other is when my buddy flipped his jeep in the Big Hot Tub in Moab. He was lucky because his Roll Cage did not hold up! Kinda scary!! My Famliy and I are going to be safe!!:woot:Wife told me I don't have enough life Insurance so make it tough!:haha:

Makes perfect sense!!

I've said it before but can't say it enough---Awesome machine raiderblaz!!!

I can definately understand the thinking behind your extreme machine design and attention to safety!

Your friend is very lucky!:eek1:

Hope to have the opportunity to check that rig out at BB13..??

I'm surprised at the number of vehicles that don't have protection...things are looking awesome as usual Mike!

Makes me even more satisfied to have the Wife's Power Wagon in the shop for some serious cage work, in preparation for our 2013 wheeling plans, including BB13.

Sheet metal can be replaced but no one wants to have a loved one get hurt, especially while out "enjoying" our chosen hobby...

Thanks GUY'S:waytogo: It should be strong enough so as long as everyone inside is Harnessed in they will not get hurt! THUMPER should survive also! The Glass & Sheet metal will never be the same but the cage will hold everything together since it is attached to the frame in 12 places! Kind of like a real HEAVY HEAVY Buggy with sheet metal.
People ask me why I just didn't build a buggy?:dunno: I tell them the K5 is way cooler and how many Blazer do you see built like this out there? I have always loved the K5 so now I have both worlds. I know it will never be able to do what a buggy can but thats ok. I had kids walk by some extremly Badass Buggies to look at THUMPER and take a picture! Now that is cool to me and my 8 year old boy loves it!:D I am fortunate enough to make my dream 4X4 come to life. Thank you guy's for all the respones and I hope you are enjoing the build! I most defiantly will be at Blazer Bash 2013!:thumb:
