Ya, if the snow got really sandy around you when spinning the tires you were stuck! Made it easy when watching other guy's wheel. Here comes the sand, he's stuck!

Get ready to grind about 10 lbs out of the inside! I had my ring turned 1/4" and still had to take a ton out.

I got the Gears from Carl also and he machined everything but the housing so I hope I'm going to be ok. He machined the Dana 70 ARB also. I guess we will find out, LOL
Has yours held up pretty good?
Mine is sitting just like yours right now. TARussell and I spent a full day on it about 3 weeks ago but it's not quite finished. One last set up check, then install the "real" bearings and clean & paint.
Btw, I see your thick cover. I have a 1/4" thick cover from DIY4X and it won't fit over the ring. Not a big deal for me as I can use it on my rear, just sayin.

I got the Jana girdle with load bolts for it also so his cover better fit!! Lol
Another one of my buddies will get the Great Lakes cover I have on it now. It's 1/2" steel with a 1/2" strap, completely beef!

I wanted the girdle cover but just could go the distance. The stock cover fits so I'm going to use a rock ring I've got for now.
