Building Blazer still

Looks really good man. Props to ya, I did not have the guts to poke the hole for the load bolt. :eek1: :rotfl: :thumb:

I agree. Truth be told I did not grind all the way until the clearance "gauge" fit, I got a solid 1/4" all the way around and quit. I figured anything that'd cause 1/4"+ deflection anywhere in there is catastrophic anyway.

Load bolts always do! I still wish I had my 72 is had the eaton.. Couldn't break it if I tried... Awesome design I can't believe that more axles don't have one.. Are you using a bronze face or something for wear?

Thumper is back on it's feet again ready to roll.
Got the Jana 76 Kit installed in the Dana 60 and the TMR 14 Bolt Shave Kit installed and ready to wheel again!:woot:

Not going to happen for me this year but want to design my sliders around it.

Button up Electrical

Finishing up the wiring and installing the Premier Power Welder again with its own alternator separate from the Motor, Going to Hydro dip the door panels to match the dash to finish up the interior. Just about finished up now!:waytogo:

Motor & Tranny freshen up

I got the Motor and tranny out right now getting freshened up before BB.
I am going to try and do Petersen's 4wheel Ultimate Adventure next year so I am getting things ready. :woot:

I'm installing a bigger radiator with 14 fins per inch rather than 12 and 5/8 copper tube rather than 3/8, the radiator is a 4 core and will hold about 1 1/2 gallons more antifreeze, custom made.

I'm building some kind of sheet metal shield around my intake to deflect water so I wont suck water into the motor. Trying to use my hood scoop.

Making 2 custom extra fuel cells on the rear wheel wells so I have more distance before fill ups.

Like the plans Mike, who is doing the radiator, and keep us up on the engine rebuild....just gaskets, rings and bearings or more Power too?
Interested in seeing the intake protection too.
Good luck on the UA pick as well.
