Another question is cosmetics...
Should I leave the stock dana 60 cover or swap to the armored cover? Again not planning on wheeling this anymore but I have the beefy cover.

If its just a street driven truck, why switch to cross over? If you don't need a steering box I would be inclined to just let it be. Half the reman 2wd boxes are junk out of the box. Seems like a bunch of extra work for not much gain.
I've always heard crossover adds the possibility for death wobble and wander issues. I would also just leave it push pulm style if it's never going offroad again.

I have bad bump steer, whenever I compress the suspension my steering wheel turns pretty good and I swear I lost some range on my steering. When I switched my other rig to crossover it fixed all those issues.

Crossover and tight king pins go a very long way to having very good steering response. Spring for the PSC box, which is brand new throughout.

I’ll disagree on the PSC box but agree on the rest. The last two PSC boxes I got for the blazer were garbage from the get go and the last two I got for a previous vehicle were the same. My cheapy o’reilly’s boxes have been worlds better than any ridiculously priced PSC box ever was.

Fwiw I run crossover on mine and have no issues with bump steer or death wobble.

I'm definitely thinking psc, I did that on plan B and have been very happy with it.

Sucks you had bad luck with them I hope it's not becoming typical.

It's funny this truck had death wobble a while back with its current setup (it has been fixed)
