So on to the t case. When I originally pulled the driveline (post moab trip) I only got a few drops of fluid out of it... when I put it back together I added over a quart, never came back out the top fill plug but I didn't stress it because of the other issues I was working on. I did the no rear driveline test and a bunch came out when I pulled the driveline and it puked all over the place when I was test driving. I put 3 quarts back in it and again never hit the top fill plug,

I am hearing what sounds like a whine or howl in what I believe is the t case or the cv on the driveline. Higher speeds it's more prominent and when I let off the gas and it's slowing down. Is this normal? The entire time I have had the 208 t case I had swampers so I'm not sure if I just couldn't hear it before or if something is off.

I have until blazer bash to tear shit apart and get it back together. Since I don't have a tow rig I drive both ways and don't want to break down lol

Three should have filled it.

hearing whine when you let of the gas is sometimes a pinion noise. I would think that if it was transfer case it would do it all the time.

Rent a truck and trailer tow to BB solves the break down issue, granted a bit more expensive but..........

Or just make sure everything is good lol much cheaper ;) and more fun.

I'd be ok with pinion issues. It would be a good excuse to upgrade to 513s while I'm in there :)

Added my off-road design quick disconnects. Still need to do the ez inch and possibly fuel injection pre blazer bash. I'm pumped and ready.
What trails are you guys doing?

Finally have all the parts gathered up for my EZ inch lift. I'm really hoping this helps the tiny amount of fender rub I get when fully flexed.
I'm still debating on moving the axle forward 1 or 1.5" or leaving it dead centered. I am wondering if I should look at my shocks and brake lines also. Make sure they are the right size now that everything is broke in and soft. I'd hate to add an inch and rip off a brake line or max out a shock.

Is your tire getting into your firewall at all?

Don't forget to that moving it forward messes with your DS length

Yeah I'm not really stressing the driveline. It's cheap to have it extended if needed.

I rub that bottom corner of the fender and some times a tiny bit of the wheel well. I went to a slightly bigger and wider tire so I know I need at least the one inch up.

I'd probably set it up for a inch forward and see how it does. Brake lines should be fine unless they were already stretched. Be prepared to trim in front....

Moving the axle forward also changes caster and pinion angle. Just keep an eye out and measure before/after.

Through all the different leaf packs I've run, I've always had use for the 1" add-a-leaf.

I think I'll do the 1" dead center and do a 2 degree shim. That will put it right on factory specs. I'll trim the fender a tiny bit more and see how it does. If I need to move it forward at that point I'll go to the 1" forward. Just a thought, I don't really want to trim the front of the fender unless 100% necessary

Have any of you had to replace the ignition switch in your trucks? I think mine is on its way out and it looks like a pretty straight forward job except I'm not entirely sure how to pull out the ac duct under the steering column. Anyone don't this?

The A/C duct should be held with a screw under the column, into the steel panel.
Then it will pop out/off of the ends by pulling to the center if the truck, then drop down and off of the center housing.

Thanks!
I was worried about pulling on it because it's a little brittle but now that I found a replacement if needed I'll persuade it a little more and I'm sure it will pop right out.

Next dumb question.

I'm doing body bushings soon.
Rubber vs poly.
I'm crazy when it comes to vibrations so I'm leaning towards rubber for a softer more comfortable ride.

Opinions?

Thanks!

Btw thanks for the vote! You have my vote next month! :)
