Camaro my Brother gave me

Car with me in the driver's seat weighed in at 2128 today.

Got 300 +/- to go in yet. Some stuff that will be swapped for lighter like front glass, front rims and tires.

Figuring 2400 race weight.

With that in mind gears were ordered.

Wheelie bars are done. Rear axle back out. All of it going into blasting and powder coat on monday.

Rear lexan is up next. Then I can finally paint the back half of the chassis and start in on the wheel tubs and floor.

Getting so very close.

Is that glass vacuum formed?
Not sure. It had the right shape. I have no idea how they do it or why they don't make it a little closer on fit. I get leaving it a little long but 2" big around the entire perimeter and 5" long on the tail is a little excessive.

Optic Armor sells poly windows that are ready to just glue in with no trimming and no fasteners for a factory look, but they cost significantly more...

Maybe you mentioned it before, but i didn't catch it, but what spindles did you use?

More importantly, where/how did you learn to do all this? Or does the chassis kit come with detailed instructions?
