Holy crap you guys have some nice shops!
Yep, I pretty much figure you've got to have a 10x25' area per vehicle to have decent room around it.Now that's what a "2" car garage should be like. The 2 car garages they put on houses around here are a joke. A car and enough room for a lawn mower is about all.
i will play 1.25 car wide x 1.75 car deep. wood garage built in 50's with house. detached from house.
getting all my stuff setup and organized for when i can realy work again after my surgery for my neck.
my big tool box and general shop layout.
my storage shelfs for stuff i will be working on or use soon.
work area shelf / 20 ton press.
mini porta tourch setup for small jobs i might need to cut or heat / floor jack 3 ton craftsman .
55" wide screen phillips rear projection tv for just kickin back. and yes dont p!ss off my tv. he will get you.

Brett, any idea of the true width? Can you actually work on a car/truck inside at that width?
I ask because I'm close to deciding on having a shop built but because of the layout of my back yard/grade/septic system it's going to be 18' wide which equals 17' of interior width. Per the tape measure this should yield about 3'~4' on each side of the K5, is that enough??
