The box has been off since September the 5th, the frame is all painted front to back now, and the truck has been sitting in my garage waiting for me to do the cab corners.
I`ll start on that today...but I`m baby sitting Colbys pup while he is still sleeping!

Black ops 3 came out yesterday and it was a late night for him I guess!

The box had to come off to get the cab corners. The drivers side was way worse than I thought and I knew it was bad!
The inner panel was shot so I made a new one 7 hours today this is what I got...

Rock sliders would have been easier!! Next time for this truck. And we are talking about a high pinion Ford D60....not anytime soon!

Yeah Lol! Nothing a good bench and a hammer can`t fix!

I was going to go to the Hutterite Colony they got hydro shears and brakes that will bend anything, but it was Saturday and they usually take that day easy . I didn`t feel like looking for someone to let me into the shop.

Looks great dean. My dad had a shop do his rockers and can corners since his truck was in for an insurance claim. 1k a side. Most of that is the paint costs to blend. I told him he should have just sprayed Bedliner on it.

Thanks! We are going to bed line the bottom, we don`t want to go up to high though , should look ok when its done.

Poked around at the pass side this afternoon...not much better! Looks like I will be at this thing for a while yet!

my pass side is slightly worse than the drivers...I haven't driven it in salt the last 2 years and its gone from no rust-through in 2010 to almost completely gone rockers....frame is still in good shape though....I've heard some horror stories on 1/2 ton frames of these years.

That truck I bought with the 5.3 in it had the frame rotted out.

Jesses 96`s Frame was rotted out.

The frame one this one is good, My o2 needs a rear shock mount at the top replaced because of rust. I`m scared to take the box off of it and find more thin spots!

Just the one side for whatever reason? Other side is solid as hell.

Mono foam it....more neer drinking time!
