This is really making me want to get a bender

i'm real pleased with how it turned out. i'm thinking of doing a spare tire mount in the bed - i've got exactly 39" from the back seat rail to the back of the tailgate - so it'll be able to mount flat. i'm going to run either 37's or 38's.
then all the rest of the cargo can just go on top of the tire.

i've been toying with the idea of building a hitch mount for the bender so that i can loan it to people. on the last piece of tubing i was bending up, it had been raining really hard and so the ground around my concrete slab was real soft - pulled it right out of the ground! That looks real nice Colby. When you come down bring the tube bender, program, and welder or just bring a duplicate but for an 83. J/K kind of.
BEAUTIFUL.... priceless
major suck. had to have a fat friend of mine stand on the base so i could finish my last two bends for the cage...
good stuff. more reason to build a hitch mount tho!

i don't plan to add anymore tubing.wow, nice cage work. Now I gotta go back and read the rest of the thread
EDIT: ok just went back and read the whole thread. Your truck is looking really good so far. Any plans to add another tube from the rear wheelwell to that node just above it? Man I gotta get a bender soon!

i don't plan to add anymore tubing.![]()

i thought about adding some rhombuses... but decided it'd just be too much tube.Needs more diagonalation....
