ok here is one of the filler neck under the fender
here is one of the tank and filler neck inside the truck from the back
and here is one last one of the tank from the front the electrical is just sitting there because i was changing some wiring to the batteries but haven't finished yet
cool. thanks. i was thinking that you had enclosed yours like I'm doing with mine - so I was hoping to get some ideas about that. I like the hidden fuel filler, but I will be doing something different in mine because I still use the space for cargo so it needs to be out of the way.
tell me about this battery box you've got there...
yeah i haven't had the time to finish the cover yet but hopefully next month i will have enough time over spring break to do some stuff on it. and they are just marine boxes with straps when i pulled the cables off i didn't bother to put the covers back on but they are there
its just a fuel line to the fuel pump i cut a line and was in the midst of replacing it so while i was on the top side i took a picture. the bungee cord is just there to hold everything forward from the tank so nothin pinced off my fuel lines when i drove it to the beach. never removed it yet
No, I mean on my truck, there's a hose that goes from the tank through the frame to a spigot on the outside of the frame. Any ideas on what that's for?
i think maybe that is the tank breather if it doesn't already have one would be my guess.the one that was originally on mine was real long and so i cut some hose and shortened it. maybe post of a pic that way we have a visual
if you look at the pic of my tank there is a very little like two inch hose if yours is in the same spot i would say its the breather. its like the third one in after the two fuel lines to the motor.
do you know the name of the color green you have ur truck painted. my friend works at dupont and he cant find it. i really would like to paint my truck the same color.
i believe it's just called lime green. shouldn't be too hard to find the color code for it, since it was a color option from the factory. for what it's worth, i used PPG single stage - looks great, it's held up great so far. i didn't do any buffing nor wet sanding to get rid of any orange peel - but i have next to no orange peel with it. it gets beat up on the trail - so i didn't worry about doing 2 stage, etc...
