Coming to BB07 from WV

Can I blame that on Jack?;)

That was a very rude awaking. I think that is what made it possible for me to play with the white gas later and not light on fire, Wet clothes are less likely to catch on fire:doah:
I think you should blame it on Toby. :dunno: I'm sure he had something to do with it. Wasn't he the one that placed those canopies like they were?

I thought you were using the white gas to keep the fire up and just evaporate the water off the canopy. :D

I know that Toby was real nervous about me and that gas. That is what mede it fun for me:D

I think he was okay with pretty much anything you did as long as you weren't endangering the paint finish on his rig. :wink1: He wasn't worried about the canopy catching on fire, he was afraid the fire would spread from the canopy to the camper and then get to his rig.

Is there cell service in Moab? I have Alltel. oh and 15 days and counting We hit the highway

IIRC there is. I have Verizon though. I don't remember what the coverage was like on the highway leading to Moab.

Cell service between Grand Junction and Moab is spotty at best.

It does come and go.

Most people in the Rural areas here are on Verizon so I don't know about all tell.

Cell Service in Moab is usually good.

Which way are you coming in. The southern I-40 route or the Northern I-70 route.

Perhaps since you are the farthest driver you could PM your phone # to a few peeps on your route in case you have trouble or need something.

I am just totally amazed with Brandons compassion in his interest in the gentleman from WV getting to America the Beautiful and on over to Utah This is a side that I've never seen. :);):) Truth be known that is a very good idea Brandon.

64 west to St Louis Missouri, then 70 to Utah exit 180 then south on 191.

If we have no problems (fingers crossed) we will roll into Moab early Thursday afternoon.

I do like the idea about getting some phone numbers and names just in case. I was actually going to ask a couple of you guys for a number before I left in case something happend that would delay our arrival.

I am looking forward to meeting you guys and having some fun.

thanks Rodney

A bunch of us from Colorado are meeting in in Grand Junction, just east of the Utah stateline. We've got a meeting spot staked out for 1:30PM just of I70. Maybe you'd be able to hook up with us there if you're interested.

where is the spot in Grand Junction?

If a few of you wouldnt mind please PM me your phone numbers and real names and maybe your location along my route to Moab.

Thanks Rodney

Looks like Scott forgot to mention exit #28 (24 road). We will be on the South side of the interstate at the Canyon View Ballfields.

Rodney, Let the guys know of your route in the lounge and the garage.
We've had many guys go cross country and lots of people watched out for them.
I've had guys stay at my house before on cross country trips.
Just ask them to PM you their number if they are close to your route.
CK5 ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE has paid off for many on here  .
I'm in Dillon Co. after the tough climb you'll have to the tunnel.
Make sure to save your brakes for the ride down the mountain :D .
You might be able to hook up with the guys in Denver on your way through
and start the gray.... I mean frieght train up to my area.
Here's the town I live in http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&formtype=address&popflag=0&latitude=&longitude=&name=&phone=&level=&cat=&address=&city=dillon&state=co&zipcode==

I'll PM you my number before you leave.
Dave
BTW, if you see me on the side of the road pulling my rigs like this, please stop :D
