What about breaks ?? One thing we run into is bolt pattern. Some people want nice aftermarket rims, but you can't get them in 8 lug. Be really cool for some people if they can keep thier aftermarket 6 lug rims, but still have breaks that can handle the larger tires and heavy vehicles.

The gears are based off of the granny low gear in a road ranger tranny from a semi.

No kidding? I used to rebuild Roadrangers for a living; which one did you model from?

right now the brakes are 1-1/8" jeep rotors and chevy calipers. Depending on what bolt pattern you want to go with the caliper bracket can be modified to fit a different brake caliper.

Not sure on the model. When we started on this a few years ago we went down to the local semi wrecker and told them we needed some big gears so they pointed us to those. Now all the gears are custom cut to our specs to handle load and other specs.
