Crew cab. Use it or lose it.

Edit: That is assuming the controller doesn't show when the actuator has moved to the preset stop point. If it does then I don't have to worry about it.

The control panel does have indicator lights so should be good to go. This is assuming some things since I haven't put power to any of it yet.

Drey, the cab tubes kinda suck. My rockers were rotted out when I started so that made it worse. Either way on a crewcab its alot of tedious welding to the thin metal.

Here's some better shots of the sliders.

it must have taken a lot of bondo to fill that hole! lol, jk

buckets and buckets!:wink1:

I think a nice pin stripe right on the tailgate would be nice.

Something like,

‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing’

Edmund Burke

I like the color. Kinda like the old Potent Rodent.

Do you think there will be any contact between the cab slider and the bed slider?

There's probably 1/2" between the two. I'm hoping it'll be OK. Not gona twist too much anyway. If it makes contact I'll be able to deal with it then. Paint job on the lower 10" will be easy maintenance.

Have to have the box to the body shop on Monday so I need to finalize the design on the slider/step pieces this weekend. Got a start over the last few evenings.

As always looking good. Tailgate looks great.

I'm actually kind of "on the fence" with the slider tubes. I wanted a step and something out far enough that I could stand on them with the door closed. Just might be something hard to get used too.

What do you mean?

Are you that used to kneeling on the rocker and stepping up?

Nah, I only do that after a days work and I'm to frickin' old and tired to jump.

I think they are ugly as sin right now.

I obviously haven't seen them in person yet, but I think they look mean as hell.

I'll give you my opinion tomorrow. Need to see them in person.

Here's what I did on my tailgate. Just another idea.

Yeah it's hillbilly as hell, but it made a good conversation piece and the Ford guys just loved it:D

was kinda late as I missed the pic withe the tubes on there, but yea anyway Im retarded! EDIT: I

I think they look good as is. If I read into your other statement correctly, you want more of a step. I think if you added some tube that kinda resembled the "deep woods" sliders from blazin would help with that and look real nice. I wish I had pics of my burb with the stainless sliders I built. I think it would fit with the dually fenders real nice.

EDIT EDIT: I swear I typed my first edit correctly I dont know how the "EDIT: I" moved to the wrong end of the sentance AND didnt turn blue.
