Crew cab. Use it or lose it.

Your Welcome!! When are we going to see some new pics of the CC?

I almost snapped a few today. Maybe tomorrow evening I'll grab a couple if I can. I'd like to get one at night. I really like the one ton cab lights and tailgate lights all lit up.

Might want to fix your front marker light if you do.

How's the carb doin? Load up down the highway or is it pulling enough fuel to keep it in check?

Headliners are for Girly Men

When the K5 liner starts saging its GONE!

I think I fixed that.... can't remember now. Damn I'm gettin' old.

Doing fine down the highway. Seems to load up sitting still. Haven't quite figured that one out yet. The float levels are in check so not a stuck float again. I suppose the needle and seat could be fouled again.

Drey, headliners are for old men. Old men that plan to go on long trips in said vehicle.:wink1:

Wasn't working last night. I agree though, in the dark all of the brand new marker lights on that rig are just sexy.

It is always something, isn't it?

yep, in actuality, long way from being finished.

Alot of gauges to hook up.
Headliner
overhead console
CB radio
back seats and or gear box.
some gooseneck hitch work.
need to run some more airlines.
winches whenever I get around to that.
auxiliary lighting.
Sub boxes need to be secured.

That's all I can think of currently.

Probably better call him and get some weights and such.

These look interesting as well...

I bought what he said was the last set he had last fall, he may have found more - he said he was having a tough time finding any. I havent wheeled on mine yet, but I can tell you these are THICK tires, they hold my 6500+ pound K20 up at 4 psi!

How do they ride? Not looking forward to swapping wheel sizes....They are tempting though. Load rating?

load range E, they dont ride any worse than the XLs I had before - pretty good for a 38! I couldn't tell how noisy they were when I drove on em last - no doors or windshield, couldn't hear anything but wind and a 383.

figured the load range was up there pretty good. I'd have to build a new fixture to widen 16" dually wheels or recenter some shells.... Neither one is attractive but the tires definitely are.

Are the pics still down for now? Can't view anything but red X's.

Kert, what axle width did you start with? C&C 14ff? How wide is the frame? I assume you widened the wheels as well as moved the center to make them more offset? How wide did you end up with the wheels? Looks like 10"? Looking at doing something similar under the back of my truck but I wanna keep it as narrow as possible.

Thanks.

Yep, pics are down for a while yet. I'm learning the software for the new website still. Got to figure out how to upload pictures for other than products.
