Crew cab. Use it or lose it.

do you have a fuel pressure regulator?? how many PSI of fuel are you feeding that carb with??

I've always been told it should look whiter like it's burning hotter. Not sure if theres any merit but i was getting 13 mpg with my old 83 chevy 4wd. Of course that was a built 350 and not a big block though :D

Yep, have a regulator on it. Set at 5psi currently. That's when its setting at idle of course.

If I were getting 13 right now, I wouldn't be looking any deeper into the situation. For the record, I'm getting 5.

Conspirators! All of them!

A tach and a wideband would help a lot to determine what's going on.

hop over to a local speed shop and inquire about a dyno or wideband tune, it'll dial in the fuel economy rather quickly and shouldn't cost more than one or two hours dyno time.

Fender vents are these peel and stick abominations:

I regularly see an 8 series BMW and 300Z that have been defiled by these.

Alot of things to make a diesel work in the crew are already there....

Can't throw the towel in just yet though.
