Crew cab. Use it or lose it.

Finally got the appropriate nuts for the 5th gear deal. Got that back together.

Had to replace the slave cylinder and made up a new line so I didn't have to deal with the plastic/formed line that the trans came with.

Gona clock the tcase down just a bit for some exhaust clearance on the Drivers side. More like a solid axle would normally have its tcase hung. The IFS stuff is really tucked up in there.

Rear brake lines are back together.

Should be up and running within the week.

Drive train is finally back together. The clutch master put up a bit of a fight but I think that is all sorted out now.

Couple more evenings and I should be able to drive it again. Got to start breaking in a clutch. Yeah, right!

Exhaust is done as its gona be. We took the pass. side exhaust and flopped it over to the drivers side. Went on perfectly.

The other side wasn't quite as pretty but will work for permanently temporary exhaust. Next time the header on that side is off, i'll make the appropriate changes.

Got some wiring done inside. I'm short very little for the road trip. Basically an air pressure gauge left to hook up and a brake controller.

GM stealership only had 4 quarts of fluid for the NV4500 so that needs to be rectified tomorrow. Unfortunately, that's the only place in town I can get it.

Need a seat mount and its ready for a test drive.

dont forget mopar used nv4500 also.

and 4qt is spec. but lots say to go .5 qt over to help the input bearing live a longer life.

Depends on what spec you read. 4x4HD models, 5 quarts is the spec i'm finding and most say to overfill by 1/2 to 1 quart. I filled this evening via the shift tower, i'll pull the fill plug tomorrow and see where things are before dumping more in.

Idk how the NV4500 is setup but how do you OVERfill it??

Ya pull the shift tower and put a little extra in.

Drove it home tonight and all is working good. Clutch is a bit digital. Might take a little getting used too.

if its just a pipe thread could also put a pipe elbow in it pointing up so you can add height to fill hole.

Yep, could also do that. That's probably what I'd do if the shift tower wasn't so readily available during the swap.

or you could just tip the truck over on its side....

So I just read all 94 pages of this awesome thread tonight. Almost all of the pics are red x's. Can you reload them for us who didn't get to see them the first time around.

I'll see what I can do. Might be tough to find all the pics back.
