i miss alot.That looks like a screaming deal even if it needs a bed. Seems like most Cummins swapped rigs are listed for more than they can be built for, this seems far under the build cost.
Why should it have a 400? If I remember correctly 400 were an option not a standard in 79.
The th400 only was paired with the 400 and the 454 in 1/2 and 3/4.
The one ton got the th400 regardless.
Can you prove that? I have pulled 350/TH400 combos, you couldn't even get a 400 after 1980, andI have never seen a 1981+ 3/4 with a TH350.

No I can't prove it. I just had the order sheets from the 70's and unless you wanted to special order and wait months, you picked from the std options they had.
So I can't say you will never find that combo.
And I should have mentioned 70's because once the th350 was discontinued, 3/4 tons started getting the th400 unless they had the diesel where the 700r4 was more used.
