D60 install questions

go off the HARD body line to measure for level . the rear wheel wells are lower than fronts . so if you measure off these to the front it will be nose low and butt high .

looks like a good build so far tho . few little tweeks and you be good .

as said looks like springs are in normal to any other set i have done ..... and i have done a lot .

and when you measured from your bump stops dont forget you got drop spacers installed in them . . . that would throw off any measuring some one else would do . thats why we always go axle tube to bottom of the frame rail .

and if you go smaller lift springs dont buy any steering correction stuff yet . you might get away with a different part than you might have ordered .

Typical rough country 4"=6". had the same problem years ago with them. Had a 4" Rancho lift with blocks in rear, replaced with Rough country 4" and had to get a new longer rear driveshaft.

Like I said I have a rough country 6" full spring lift. I have stock axles and yours looks to be a little higher than mine. So yeah just get past the fact that those are definitely 6" springs. You don't want rough country anyway so get yourself some better springs. I'm going to eventually, I just can't decide if I want to put 52s up front. Would make it a lot cheaper. I already have a DIY4X shackle flip for the back.
Oh and I wouldn't go under 4" for a 35" tire.

I've installed a few Rough Country 73-87 4" kits. The RC 4" springs sit like everyone else 6" spring. I always remove the bottom 2 leafs out of the RC 8002 4" spring to go with the 4" rear block. If you don't you'll end up having to install a rear addaleaf or something more to get 2 more inches or rear lift.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the Tuff Country 3" soft springs, Will this with a D60 clear 315/70/17 tires?

I would rather go 2" but That seems too tight for these tires.

Oh I see said blind man, I take dana's 60 Different Animal
