what yr is the rig? it matters... it's bolted to the wheelwell... and USUALLY bolted to those 2 floor sections in front and behind the well.. but the newer ones can be welded...
it also has 4 bolts per side that bolt the tailpan to the qrter from underneath in the corner... it is fillet welded at the bottom of the C-pillar.. and than spotwelded down the door jam..
It is a 85'. Those 4 bolts to the tailpan are non existent. They were barely hanging on when I redid the tail pan. And with the 2"x3" square tube that I used for my tail pan, I didn't/couldn't use what was left of them.
Theoretically, if nothing in front of the wheel well where the previous repair was made was welded to the quarter panel, I should be able to cut the C-pillar off/remove spot welds on the door jam/cut area where the angle iron is below fuel neck/unbolt wheel well and it comes right off....but that's in theory.

Haven't said it in a few posts.....but thank you so much Paul and everyone else for the help so far!
