Dana60 Wheel Bearing Nuts 6pt vs. 4pt ?

To pull the hub seal out: remove the spindle nuts and outer wheel bearing, put a spindle nut back on a few threads. Grab the rotor and pull off the entire hub assembly off the spindle.
just do NOT use a inner nut for a 4 tab style with the index pin for this . you might break the pin off and be sol.

this trick works GREAT 95% of the time . some setups it wont work . but i just did it on my 60 front so it will work for you .

Well the "slide-hammer" trick worked... pass side a bit more "dry" A-one a-two a-three a-boom it let loose yeeeeeeHaaaaaaa!!
Spindle bearing are toast.. well dried up anyway and getting replaced...

Can't remember what I used on mine,,, it's been a while since I've had it apart... but I didn't buy a special socket, so it must have been something I had in my box....standard 4 or 6 pin 4x4 socket ?

I will say I was very satisfied with the product,, went on easy, locks securely, and nicely machined. It flat works.
