I don't feel like making an update entitled "new transmission / t-case / axles"! :haha:

That said, my buddy that helped me put the motor in and used to run sand rails that would run a wheelie for 1/8 mile and had a 9 second camaro drove it for the first time since the swap the other day... He blipped the throttle in second and his eyes did this:eek1: I'm almost positive that I could pull the fronts. What I would break is another story

I should have said axle shafts, and then tranny/case... Either way, something has to give if I get stupid!

I was thinking the same Sean, I hit mine hard the other day in 4w/2:1...the front springs allow a lot of transfer, but I didn't feel any touchdown after...:pimp:

Not a great video, but it gives an idea... It was at 3/4 throttle in 2nd.

Forgot to mention, the sound when I'm turning is a bottle in the back rolling from one side to the other... No suspension pieces falling off!

Its always funny the stuff you'll hear in a video clip that you don't even notice when you drive around without a camera rolling.... :D

When my BIL comes up next month I'll have him bring the gopro and we'll see if we can get a little better video.

And yeah Greg, the whole back of my truck is full of crap that I've been carrying around with me since the swap just in case. It's really annoying not having your own workspace and garage and tools when doing this kind of stuff...

GoPro would be fun.....

You could set up a tripod and do some 2nd gear drive-bys......some strong launches from a stop (as much as your comfortable with) and then run the video in slo-mo to see how the suspension reacts.

I'll bet with that new mill you could actually "see" the rear springs wrapping up under power in slow-motion. Maybe even air WAY down and try to get one of those cool wrinkle-sidewall type shots of your truck twisting the baloneys out back!!

I have a feeling my wife is planning to buy me a GoPro for my birthday. Not sure what the hell I'd film on my truck, except the way it sits quietly on the floor. :D

I like where your head is at... I'll have to see what we can come up with!

Badass Brother. I'll completely stop giving you crap about the vid now. That was well worth it. :waytogo:

It would be pretty cool to see some Go pro stuff.

See ya in 16 days.. :woot: :saweet:

Hey can I play?
I'll have to try that on the driveway as well....Sean do you have any antiwrap bars back there?
Kert ruined a set of springs (used) in 1 launch like that without any traction device on the axle.

Damn right Dave!

I do have an anti wrap bar in the back on the right side. I don't even want to think how crazy this thing would be without it! As it is, she squishes around quite a bit under heavy throttle.

Had to replace the inside door releases today. The passenger side blew up last week and was rattling like crazy.

Also found that the passenger side shackle bolt has rubbed a hole through the header:angry1: I need to weld that up, but need to figure out how to keep it from happening again before I bother. I can't bend it inboard any more as it's already really close to the driveshaft... At the moment all I'm coming up with is longer shackles, but then I have to correct the caster again. Also, I'm already running 6" shackles up front... Should I even go longer? I'm pissed and tired of "fixing" the same stuff over and over.
