14-15 years ago I swaped it to srw hubs and serviced the bearings . 1 is finaly starting to make noise. and no other maint was ever done to them .

try this on unit bearings used in our kind of use.

5 years is a long time for a filter and oil, though it's probably okay with the low mileage. I'd be more concerned about moisture buildup from lack of use.

Years ago when I worked at a Jiffy Lube, a lady brought in a Ford Ranger with a noisy valvetrain. When they dropped the plug, no oil came out. Then, after some prodding with a screwdriver, a few clumps of oily crud dropped out. Then the tech noticed it had a factory oil filter. It was a 4 year old truck with 55,000 miles, and the lady had never changed the oil. We declined to work on it because of liability, but filled it up with oil and sent her on her way. It actually quieted down with some oil in there that wasn't solid. I would be surprised if that filter wasn't plugged up.

00 ish blazer 3+ years on the LOF sticker. :doah:

I worked on a 2010 John Deere a few years ago that had the filters dated 1985.

so this gets better...

horn wasnt working right - taken to dealership and they said horn was bad
died again - taken back and they said other horn went
died again - going back today

so I am gonna see what happens but it only takes like 3 days...
if it dies again there is an electrical problem...

how many times until it falls under lemon law?
now would be stupid to need a new truck due to lemon law on horn but there has to be an electrical problem!!!!

Ok I know you live in Jersey but do you have to use your horn that much? :haha:
