This is after I blacked it out, much sexier, and about 100 coats of wax lol, and cut the exhaust off and ran it out in front of the driver rear tire, very sexy, I love this thing so much.

Paid $1000 for it, put new oil pan in, water pump, hoses, power steering, belt and idler pully, U joints, breaks, front bearings, and break lines. Has been the best investment Ive ever made, gets 18 highway, and I haul about $100 a week of scrap in the summer to the scrap yard in it. It has paid itslelf off for sure.
Not to mention its fantastic for camping because I hate tents, and well its good for other things if you know what i mean....

it needs a set of big&littles with torque thrust mags (black centers):waytogo: You just gotta love a van.I almost traded the 1 ton for a late 90's full size conversion a guy at work has. But I got a burb and blazer to tend to:D

That van is begging to be turned into the A-Team van!!!

ITS GOT A WING ON THE BACK!!!! WOO lol, just didnt have picture of it lol, I have no idea what the wing is from, but I found it in the woods at a buddies haha, shined it up and drilled some holes. I snag somemore pics today

BTW guys the barn where I work, is neither at my house, nor is it my barn, its my buddies gmas, who just happens to also be my bosses gma, and my boss is my dads best friend, and im basically family lol. But its not in the back yard at my house or anything. FYI.

Edit: Heres the wing lol, I prolly should have shut the doors all the way lol, they are not messed up or anything

My buddy spent a good 4 hours sanding it down, I was so stoked he came out to help. They all had to go home though so didnt have time to paint before it needed to go back on cuz god knows I cant do it myself lol.

Had a little accident with just the 2 of us lol, top slid and scaped against the paint, but I think it will buff off, I think its just the white coating on the inside that rubbed off a little, I hope lol.

Looks nice man:thumb: gonna look great painted. The rear floor of that thing is near perfect too. Is the steel top rusty in the middle there at the seam?? Might wanna sand n touch that up too if it is:dunno: My sons 72 has some very similar white marks on the side:rolleyes: Thats what I get for trying to pull a full convertible double wall top with a moderately old dude(me) and a 95# 14 year old:doah:.

HAHAH well at least now I dont feel so bad about it lol. I got it outside primered right now, gonna hit it with flat black after I fine sand it down a little and reprimer

Yah hope so, other wise oh well, scratches build character right?? Lol, Ok got it sanded, primed, painted. Not quite as flat black as I was hoping but hopefully the sun will take care of that.

Heres after I just threw about 4 coats of wax at it. Lookin SHINY!!! lol
I just love the new top without the busted windows, it just brings it all together so well.

You, sir, have given me a weekend project. I thank you kindly for it. What did you use to sand down the top?

Wow I got alot done this weekend lol. Lets recap, $400 exhaust system (what they would have charged to bend 2.5" for me) for $80, Got rear window working, and tailgate working. Got the old top off, cleaned up, sanded new topper, got it on and painted, put 4 coats of wax on it, got all my tools in the back instead of on the back seat.

Also got the vans exhaust hooked up and fired that up, should be driving that this week.

And my lady came over at 4 and we hung out all day and she just went home.

All in all I couldnt have asked for a more perfect weekend :woot:
