Its so much better painted. It lets it blend in a bit, which is what I was hoping for.
I was gonna ask why you didn't do it the gray like the rest of the tube. Now I get it.

I didn't go to the dunes. Just cruised out to Lake Michigan. That was just a parking lot covered in sand that they havnt cleared off.
