Deuling's 1985 K5. "Restart thread on post #8415"

So I'm hear to hijack this thread too and in general not talk about your truck.

GF's a hottie.

I'm unbanstickable.

It's a rule. Look it up.

nice looking truck...it's great to see a guy and his Dad sharing a ride :thumb::thumb::bow:

If it were mine, I'd get rid of the 10 bolts...

Yah he gives me alot of crap for selling my 2001 silverado for the blazer, but you can just see all the memories it brings back everytime i let him take it for a spin. That day at silver lake he had the biggest smile all day drivin it around up there:thumb: And yah i look even more goofy with short hair lol, so ill keep it longish.

Your Blazer is a better truck at 26-27 years old than that Silverado was new.

10 bolts should be fine for ya unless you really start beating on it. Worst comes to worst when you upgrade to 33's buy a set of aftermarket stronger rear shafts and a locker for the rear and call it good. That's my plan. Unless I stumble upon a super great deal on a 14SF 6 lug with 3.73's...but that's unlikely.

For what you're doing with your truck I would not worry about your 10bolt at all. Mine was locked with 35"s since I bought it and only broke a factory shaft when I tried a brake stand :doah:

Yup I have the same plan. No need for big axles unless I someday get some bigger tires, but not anywhere in the near future.

Hey thanks bud! Not much goin on now but this winter its gettin all torn down for some much needed floor patching and undercoating and fresh carpet! I just hope i dont get in too deatructive of a mood and rip the rest of the truck apart lol, if funds are right i would like to paint it with a new glossy coat of black while its torn apart. One of my buddies up the road has a sweet paint booth that he said we could paint it in. :thumb:

Nice lookin truck! :waytogo: Really like the 408 SB upgrade. I feel ya on the whole broke collge kid, no more time or money to throw at the truck :doah::doah::doah:

Gonna do a solid axle swap up front, hopefully jack it up, I got about 35 feet of 1" pipe and my pipe bender at home and some 2.5" pipe I got from work. Best thing is, everythings FREE!!! Gonna be a good weekend. :thumb:

And Skye kinda got hit by a Jeep backin outa my driveway.... It was her fault though, she didnt see the jeep coming down the road. Luckily the people didnt have insurance so they didnt want to do anything with cops, which I said was a good thing because of michigans no fault nobody would get any good out of it but tickets and raised insurance rates. Plus the ladies husband works at a local parts yard and is gonna bring me over a new tail light so I can put it in. So all in all not too bad, I may be able to pop the bumper cover out a bit and make it look a lil better.

I picked up all the busted peices of tail light in the road, I was thinking of wrapping it in a box and giving it to her as a gag gift.... :D

my cousin pulled the turn signal pod off of my uncles celica one night with the bumper of her dads truck. he took it and built a stained wood stand, hooked up some wires n lights and made it blink. then gave it to her as a christmas present that year:haha:
