lol.

So whats out there for coilovers, I know of kings.... thats about it, prolly a little outa the range I wanna pay. Just throw some names out. Eric said a 12"....

FOA has some decent ones.

FOAs shop burned down a month or so ago, they won't be producing new stuff till it looks like spring time.

Hopefully sooner.

Radflos, King, Bilstein, Sway a way, Profender and Fox I think those are the major players.

At least until FOA is back up and running

Well i figure that its not something most need, but the fact that i hate and will not trail drive my blazer for sake of wreckin it with trees and such, i may as well make it truly dune worthy :D

It was either do a 14bff, 8 lug 10 swap, gears, and 4" lift...(which is cool but I mean not special)

Or this which I feel will be way more awesometastic:thumb:

Didn't folkenheath use FOA's and not have super great reviews of them?

He did have a couple issues with them.

I have used them 3 times on other rigs and no problems at all. But it might be a moot point for the time being, depends on how soon they get back on their feet.

I can say I like Kings and sway a ways better but the FOAs work very well for their price

So lookin at $540 for the shocks, then another $200 for the keeper set thing, then how much are the coils themselves? Does anyone just have a complete buy it an go setup? lol

For dual rate coils, with shocks you are looking about 2500. Add air bumps at all for corners another grand. So thats 3500 before starting with links and heims. Good luck keeping your budget.

dont you have a trans build in there as well.

Okay but you better put remote bypass shocks in the rear otherwise its pointless. Unless you were going for that bucking bronco look

so 500 bucks cheaper no springs in the back.

Idk i was just puttin what eric estimated for me. Hes done nice setups before so ill take his word on it. I mean if its gonna cost a boat load more than wht he though (and idk why it would) then ill just have to save up for a few more years.

You got to remember dude we just talked about the front.

The rear you weren't sure what you wanted to do yet.

Some custom spring under leaves out back with some good quality shocks should work but thats expensive too.

You wanna go fast, you better be able to earn fast.

Out of curiosity, have you thought of using the ORD coil kit. I know its new, but for the price is be hard pressed to build my own.

Yah i guess i didnt realize the rear wasnt included in that price... Oh well, itll just take more time to save i guess. Should be done with school in 2 semesters and then start makin some more money.

I have but i want mine to sit as close to stock level as possible, and. ihink theres is set up to jack it up pretty high. And theres is only the front too i beleive.

Adam if you saved up for links in the rear. Oh man, your gonna need a bigger motor, or forced induction.

And harnesses and racing seats, and a cage

Can you feel the spirals getting tighter, you are fully on the downward spiral.

Doesn't matter if its sand you wanna do or rocks. We are all on the same downward spiral. :waytogo::woot:
