Looks like Ima need to get some GMC emblems, but I think ill wait to switch everything when I paint the truck.

BTW, ive always been a GMC fan over bowtie.

GMC...great mountain climber!

"Oh, hold on, I forgot to remove the G, and the M..... " :haha:

Totally kidding, man... my humor is kinda mean. :doah:

I like the grille! :D

Lol, itll prolly stay a blazer till next winter or so, unless I get the urge to sand it down and paint it sooner.

I can see why you'd want to change. After all not everyone can look this good. Peeps might have a hard time telling us apart if we ever meet at the dunes. LOL!!!

I like the grill, I scored one too, the one with the turn signal lenses. I opted to paint it & my headlight bezels BLAK. There are pics in my thread link if you want to check it out.

All of the cool kids have GMC on the front and a bowtie on the doors.

:haha: Classic!

A guy I work with has a lowered GMC Silverado. I'm going to get a pic of it next week & throw it in the lounge.

Pblaze I actually checked urs before, I like it:thumb: If i put it on it will all be GMC though, and ill prolly leave it silver cuz its brand new and I dont feel the need to paint it unless it gets nasty... then ill go black:thumb:

Oh and bad Update...:doah:

Went over to the guy with the sheetmetal yesterday with another payment, got there and dude was pissed, he tells me he went over to his inlaws grab all the stuff yesterday and said the shed was empty and that they told him they thought it was junk and scrapped it all:eek1::eek1::eek1::eek1:. He gave me my $80 i already had given him back, he looked about ready to cry, it was 2 new doors, the tailgate, core support, and all weather stripping. ALL GM NOS:eek1::doah::doah::doah:. Oh well I geuss ill just have to put some elbow grease into my sheetmetal to make it perfect.

I kept the GMC clip on mine and found a front collision chevy the same color and took the cab. I insured the cab as I got a title with it and I figured it would be easier with the VIN being Chevy. Needless to say I was a very confused individual when I got my insurance verifcation in the mail for a half ton Chevy instead of a 3/4 ton GMC. I had forgotten all about the body difference while waiting for the paperwork.

Dude, thats a really crappy thing to hear

How on earth does someone look at that stuff and say hmm lets scrap that... Prolly got what $10 FOR ALL OF IT, when it was prolly close to $1000 or more in GM metal... ughh :doah:
