Stall has nothing to do with when it will lockup Adam, your trans controls lockup, not the converter.
Most companys when they talk about stall are talking about brake stall.
The rpm at which the brakes can no longer prevent the driveshaft from spinning and creating forward progress ( or a burnout
). Or in other words the speed that the engine is spinning when the engine and the trans become coupled.

Having a higher stall in the dunes is awesome. Having a tranny that shifts when it's supposed to is nice. I never had third in my old 350. I can't wait to get out there with you this year but probably will not happen till June.
is this liner catalyzed? or air dried?
Its got an activator you mix in if thats what you mean paul, and it says its got kevlar in it.
Comes with:
2 gal part A main liner
2 quarts part B activator
2 quarts of part C Reducer
2 bags of either fine or heavy crumb rubber stuff.
Mix one of each in bucket and spray. Says you have 35 min before itcwont shoot anymore through a gun. So when it comes down to it, its like 3 gallons of liner for $150+sh. Not bad at all
And jess im stoked to have a sweet tranny motor combo in the sand. Should be fun!!

Hurculiner is what i run on my rigs and i like it. Been on there for 4 years and only had to touch up a spot after i got brake fluid on it
Yah but for the $90 or whatever it is for a gal of herc, you could have 3 gal worth of this for less than double the price.
herc can usually be had for about $50 a gallon... but any product that is catalyzed has a superior resin base to an air-dried products resin..
This liner sounds badass! You need to post up some good pics of this. I'm putting a new cab on my truck soon and I don't wanna do herculiner again.

I would buy em in a heart beat, but 12" are too short. I need the 15 or 16" Gonna get by this year on my procomps and probably 5150's then upgrade next year.
it's probably some sort of rebadged Al's... prices work out about the same, except Al's has no reducer, but has a rubber crumb additive.. and a flattening agent too... that's the route I'll go... I want it flat right off the bat...
Dropped my 700r4 off to the tranny guy today. He let us help him take it all apart and showed us a thing or two and some tricks about what to do to stuff. Its all in peices now.
And since my grandpa and him are buddies he is givin me a sweet deal.
$150 for labor
Figured about $350 for parts, including a stage 2 transgo shift improver kit, new clutches, O rings, etc...
And im gettin an 11" hughes stall lockup converter from Eric for $220, so have about $700 into a solid 1991 700R4 with all the qwerks worked out.
Im so excited

Got my new carpet installed for the most part. Im trying to think of ways to hold it down better without glue, velcro strips maybe? I want to easily be able to take the carpet out, (especially the rear) for when i take the top off so i dont have to worry about rain soaking it, and so i can put my quad in the back withouth ruining the carpet (yes the back seat would be taken out) Also if anybody is bored ive got a pic on facebook, but ill be at work and busy all day so wont be able to throw it up till later.
