No. I bought Dyna glass. Same as Marglass, or Im sure the fiber glass bondo brand stuff is the same. Theres lots of that stuff in my blazer, and it hardens like steel and I have seen zero failures in it. Its good stuff IMO. Harder to sand, a top coat of regular bondo would have made it perfect. But i didnt much care for perfect for that. It wouldnt match the rest of the blazer if it was perfect :D

Glad you pulled that dash pad. Need the diy comp dash and then you will be full "SANDCAR!".

Interested to hear how all that cage weight plays with the new suspension in the sand.

I pulled it to cut the notches for the pillars. I've got one of those black plastic covers for it.

Does the new plastic cover come without those stupid center speaker holes? Do a good write up on it if you will please, as I am thinking about one for my work truck.

It came on it when I bought the blazer. It's a flimsy pos but it looks better than what's under it. No circle speaker holes.

Frame tie ins are the big thing. And finish up some little odds and ends.

I got a fuel pressure regulator and battery cutoff switch I'd like to install as well.

The cage needs more triangulation...

Oh wait, wrong forum. :D

Looking really good, Adam. Those welds look like they were done by a robot. :waytogo:

Haha, yah you gotta go to facebook for those kinds of posts....

Thanks, not robotic by any means, but I definitely started getting the hang of welding tube pretty good by the end.

So when do you start taking orders...

I have the bends saved for the a pillars hoops, the b pillar hoop and the c pillar hoop.

I could bend them up in a few min each. They would all be extra long and require trimming to fit and notching.
