I dig it it. I'm picky with tube bumpers.. Its gotta be right in that sweet spot, of sleek, and bulky without overdoing either one.

Honestly, I wanted it to stay how it was without the upper stuff. But I know that would serve no purpose if I actually hit say a deer at speed, or worse etc.

My intentions building this was to be able to put the skinny on the floor down a dirt road, and never need to lift if a deer hops out...

yea i agree. The top section will help roll the deer off faster. If, and when you hit one lol

Last time I looked at this I wasn't a premium member so I couldn't see the pics. Glad I took another look! That bumper looks awesome! Also love the look of the hubcaps. Keep it up man!

Thanks!

My plan is to finish the bumper as is and get it out of the garage. Stuff always looks different when you can see it from different angles.

If I dont like it, I might just cut off the upper stuff and get a new grill and fill the holes in the core support.

But for now im already this far, might as well finish it.

I think you've passed the point where you can reasonably go back to a normal grill. You'd hafta really dislike it to make that worthwhile, and I don't see that happening.

Actually it would be as easy as cutting a couple tubes off and putting a new grill in lol.

But I think this will be a good way to get cage tie ins to the final spring mount location. I already have frame tie ins at the A,B, and C pillar locations, which are at spring/shackle mounts. This will help preventing blazer turning into a taco :D

If you wanna turn it into a Taco you will definitely need a new grill. And a whole lot more, too. :deal:
