That's the only way they sell. I had to cut my old solid window one up cause nobody wanted it. The top I bought for $100, with sliders, was used a couple years and replaced with a soft top. I turned around and sold the hardtop for....... $100.Yours has openable windows, right? I might take it off your hands.
The hood comments will live on with the comments about that rear shackle thing and skinny jeans. Popping up just to annoy you every so often and then quietly going back beneath the surface for a bit.
Id run a fiberglass hood if I found one.
Otherwise I see no purpose for one.

At this point, I think your hood exists solely so we can tease you about it.
I do kinda miss the minion that's zip tied to the hood ornament.
What I get from this statement is "not having a hood is good for those who do not maintain their stuff".
or those who beat on their stuff mercilessly until something decides to make a quick exit in the form of a mist, vapor, or fireball.
So tell me again...why wasn't I able to ride in your rig last summer?
Oh yeah, because of stuff that required hood raising.
I don't wanna sound like I agree with Adam, but that's his one reasonable point. 30 year old rigs are often in need of maintenance. Some of them need much more than others.It's not like lifting the hood is this long drawn out process?!

I find it funny for a guy who touted himself all about factory sheetmetal look to not run a hood... 
I think it was just a lazy decision and that it looks stooopid IMO... that coming from a guy who often did test hits back in the day with hoods off Cuda's, etc...

Had fun. Crappy video but I was doing 65 mph on the gps speedo when I caught a little air.
Hit a jump a little earlier in the day and a kid that was on a quad next to me stopped by and goes "holy $hit!!! You had at least 4' of air when you jumped it back there".

Hood off is nice. I ran 2wd and about 4K rpms for 3 hours straight pretty much. Never got over 210 degrees.
