Drive shaft vibration/transfer case drop

we don't know if those surfaces your using are in correct relation to the driveline... I don't have THAT tailshaft sitting in front of me... thus, why I said, what I just said... look at the diagram I posted, than look at what you have..

I've measured it on every conceivable surface front and back and there is a 5* difference between front and rear.

would a non tapered block correct it?

oh, maybe use a ruler to mimic the bottom of the block and the top of the block, use the angle finder on both and see what it is. If it's around 5*, hell go find a straight block :D Even better, if it's around 2-3*, flip it around and get a 4-6* swap right there!

thus why I suggested flipping it earlier.. but I can't see it from afar to see which way it wants to go... if needed, a flat block is a cheap solution...

I might have put the blocks in the wrong way lol the directions said small taper to the front but it would be better the opposite direction.

measure the length of the block.. than how thick it is at each end and we'll tell ya how many degrees it is.... like 5" long x 4" x 4.5" at each end..

Or take them out and reverse them? I'm ready for a off day I'm going to reverse them and see what angles I have.

I dug up a old post with similar problem, I think that the instructions are bogus by reversing the block it should put angles where they need to be.

yeah, I saw your post... that was a bit different. smaller block, different taper, different angle issues with a shackle flip..

you just answered your own question, if you flip it, it will be equally bad the other way... your going to change it 12 degrees...

So back to the flat block, I haven't done this much head scratching and math since I flunked out of trig lol
