Fender Cutting 44's

yes, i wheel my rig but i have rebuilt it in the middle of the prime wheeling season. that is what i did last year when it went on the 44's. so i wheeled the tow rig for part of the summer. people have said that i will never be happy cuz i am allways rebuilding the k5. but i have only had the k5 3 years.

Wow, an online competition. This is almost like competing in the special olympics. Even if you win, well, you know the rest....

guys, sorry for the way i acted in this thread. i just get so frustrated with Fil, you try to give him intelligent input on a subject, and he goes and does exactly the opposite. i'm sure you've all seen the threads involving the ratty K2500, which was traded, straight up as i was told, for his nice looking mid '90s Dakota. he traded a perfectly good truck for a pile, after he was advised that it wouldnt do the job he wanted it to do, and then sold the pile for a loss. you give the guy intelligent advice, and he does exactly the opposite. on top of that, i sold this truck nearly a year ago, and have recieved at least one call a week on "what about this" or "how about that". frankly, if he's not going to listen to a word i say, and do something intelligent for a change, i'm tired of giving him my input. Phil, you bought a project truck. now its time for you to finish it on your own. i'm tired of dealing with it.

and when have i called i tried calling earlier to talk to you about this but no reply . quiet frankly i have no intent to keep in contact with you if this is how you are going to behave i used to know a cool guy that would give imput advice etc , and once and awhile you call me to talk to . honestly , i hopw i finish it soon ,but i am sorry if you have had hassles with me or the truck . my membership expires soon and when i signed up this was a cool site as i can see now it seems to have gone down hill i think i am not going to continue to red this site or post anymore so farwell to all you who have been cool .

dont just give up on this site... its got soo much stuff in here that can help any level wheeler/builder. God i only know... when i found this site i had just bought a 76 blazer for my first car and now i do all the work on it myself... it runs great and i havent had a problem... without the help and insight ive gotten from the guys (n gals) on this site, i would have a pile right now and i would be up to my ass in bills because of broken crap and repairing stuff that i would have done wrong...
ignore the F^$^er and move on with it. i only wish i could see the pics u posted up. sooner or later im gunna pay up n get a membership. after all, being a free member here has saved me a hellofa lot more then fixing the stupid S&*% i would have done otherwise.

keep with the site n block the F&$# who wishes he hadnt sold u his truck... hes just jealous that u have done things w/ it that he mabye hadnt even thought of.

****Edit****
I just had an intelligent coversation with BeaterK20 and now i better understand his point of view... i stand by what i said about this site and how valuable a resource it and its members are... however there is nothing that can be done to help one who refuses to accept help, advice, constructive critisism,or even assignment of blame.

hopefully i didnt make an ass out of myself or portray anyone else as one either

yeah i was considering since someone has such a connection to this truck if it was no more than there would be no more said of it , i was going to get it free , but not until more and trans goes it is a friends now so i was considering it

why start over with a jeep xj? even if its free, you could spend years trying to get those axles/engine tranny to fit and work right.

personally, i think you should build what you got. or if you wanna fab something, throw an s10 body or other small truck body on the k10 frame.

but thats just me and my .02
