Flyin Rat Garage

As far as OSB goes it's best to paint it with an oil based primer. Then with a compatible top coat.

My walls are gonna be OSB my ceiling will be sheetrock.

Sheetrock is cheaper by a couple bucks a sheet, at least in my area

getting the flyin rat garage some much needed identification (decal from @mrk5 @ bighorn graphics) some wall decor (thanks Richard!) and a special recognition and huge THANK YOU to Major Rampone for the gift of a mission flag and accompanying documentation! @ARAMP1
I apologize for taking so long to display it.

Zim, could you go into a little more detail on your lighting? I am getting ready to put some lights in my shop, it is 34x34x16 tall and thinking of going either 4' or 8' LED.

Such a sexy shop Dave, I'm so in love with your set-up!! That mission flag, so cool! Well deserved...

I can't wait to see more project progress now that the shop is done!

my ceiling is 14', I used 6 4' double bulb LED fixtures in this side of the barn measuring at 24x36. These are the fixtures, they were just over $40/fixture last year when I bought them. I am very happy with them.

thanks Rene', Major Rampone surprised the hell outta me with that one!
I still have some work to do on the other 1/2 of the barn, hopefully getting that wrapped up before end of Nov. Staricase going to the upper storage area (on top of the trusses) and need to do electrical yet and some basic organization.
I can't wait to get the time to actually get some truck project work done in it now!

Dave you need a costco membership. I paid 24.99 a piece for those exact same lights.

Nice! good score! Is that something you can order online as well?

Mostly just didn't feel like I needed to. The lighting from the 14' is pretty good. Certainly much better than my old shop w/ 8' walls and 6500 flourescent lighting. The LED's make a huge difference.

old shop....
