How soon could a 77 K5 kit be ready, and shipping would probably be $$$ 49088
If the kit is just like what's shown in the picture I'm guessing that means all new crossmembers have to be made up? Moving fuel/brake lines is easy, redesigning crossmembers and brackets for fuel tanks and such little harder. Just trying to think of all the little details that can drive a person nuts when doing a project like this

What I have done in the past is to start at the rear and work forward. When you come to a crossmember, put in a temp where you have just boxed. Take out the factory one, after taking some careful measurements. Continue boxing on through and then put the original crossmember back in. Most of them you can trim the ends off and weld it in place. Truth be told, there is no reason on most of the crossmembers not to just weld them in solid.
Trans tcase is one that'd be nice to leave removable but outside of that, I can't think of any else. Maybe, engine cross. Maybe.

OK, can see doing it like that. Sometimes my mind has a tendency to over complicate things

We won't have a 73-80 Blazer frame in here for a while. Give me a call when you get a chance this week. I have some ideas for you.

How about a kit that goes for just the front portion back to the t case as this area is the same i think on all the trucks only changes after that point for bed length and blazer? Or am i wrong?
I think your right excluding crew cabs. Outside of that, I think the only difference is the very front couple inches.
It seams the main place these frames bend is in the front upward curve just past the rear spring mount. Also instead of making it solid maybe a tear drop or open pattern so its only welded every 8 or so inches so debris and stuff don't get trapped in the frame.
The front kit would be nice seeing as i bent my frame and know of alot of others that have done the same to the front.
