G-body search

You can still buy decent ones all day for reasonable prices, if you don't demand the t-top, a 442s, aero coupes, Monte SSs, GN, etc, etc. There are a couple g body guys on here, mostly, @folkenheath @acm and myself.
Glad you don't want a 87 cutty, they are ugly. 86 for the win @acm....

What’s the aftermarket like for them as far as interior stuff?

Last I really checked it wasn't great, but getting better all the time, as cars get older. Guess it's depending on what you want to do.

I know there are a few places offering parts, gbody parts, opgi, gbodywarehouse, etc, etc. Just Google search.
Seems the Monte/ Malibu's have a good following, then the Buicks/olds and don't even bother with a Grand Prix.
Personally I stick to the Monte's and the Cutlasses.

Cutlass would be my first choice , Regal second , then Malibu’s and Montes third , Grand Prix is not an option .

You wanting floor shift, buckets?

You can find non 442/Hurst olds cars with them, but your best bet to find the parts and swap. I found a guy dirt tracking a factory bucket seat, floor shift car. Gave me the console, shifter, buckets, etc, etc. I wanted the steering column, but he was going to use that.
I have a 6.0/4L80E for my 87 gutless, maybe someday I'll finish it.

Out of all the Buicks & Olds I've had, only 1 was not an 87. It was an 86 442 & it met the :hack:
Guess you could call that a win for an 86...

Agreed, 86's totally forkin gay
No, it gay you chopped it up.

On a similar note, some people seem to think 87 are worth more due to lower production numbers. food thought when buying.

Pre 86...parts car unless it's a Hurst Olds.

This what you looking for :haha:it's got donks!

If you find any out this way I can go look. I've done it before for others.

I've got an '85 Salon that the PO put H/O parts on (I kept the H/O 8.5" and 2004R), I put my previous Cutlass' 403 in. Have a Cadillac F/I intake off a 70's Olds 350, my intent is to multi-port the 403 and/or 350 with "factory" parts. Probably once I'm old enough to not enjoy it.
