Someone should just post it up.....I need this as well. I am sure my guage isnt the culprit since I replaced it and it did the same thing but I would rather not replace the sending unit and have the same result. The guage only cost me like $5 but the sending unit is a little more and a big PITA to replace.

Yeah, I ran out of gas the otherday. I wanna figre out how to fix the problem. My gasguage is good until 1/2 tank then it stops registering. I guess Ill just have to trouble shoot it the hard way and start with the float and moove my way forward. If I findsomthing out Ill share it with ya'll.

Mine worked good when I got the truck a year ago. Then just around August it started the only using half the gauge. So I put another one in it worked great on my trip to PA and so I now had my mileage guide completed 10 mpg city 15.5 mpg Hwy.
I have a 31 gallon tank and every 310 miles it is top her off; but this is crap. If it was float it wouldn't work when I put another gauge in (all are used). I mean I at least want a working gauge when I am in Mohab or Canyon Lands and going across the vast nothing in NV. I am taking two jerry cans but it sucks to run a TBI out of fuel. (hard on pump in tank heats it up).
