Geronimo: 1959 Chevy Apache

1959 Chevy Apache long bed Fleetside with some modern stuff inside. Built for long trips
Ok in the back, I got both gas tank crossmember cleaned up, painted and reinstalled. I painted the gas tank with spray on bed liner and installed that too. After I took this pic, I put in the new fuel sending unit with an AC Delco ep381 fuel pump.

And up front I sprayed bed liner on the inner wheel wells, just the wheel side. And then I reinstalled the radiator, core support, and both inner fenders.

Because I'm using a 56 cab with 58/59 front sheetmetal, I need to drill 2 holes for the hood hinges. I can use the upper hole in the firewall but I need to drill a new lower hole.

I saw this new product from Holley and I got so excited that I went ahead and ordered it. Good thing it was on a 3 week back order because 2 days later, I realized it was not for LS engines (at least not straight out of the box)

Hoping Holley releases an LS version very soon.

Ah that makes more sense why you were looking to sell the other stuff

I'm confused, sorry. You DID order that Holley Terminator Xmax? Those Terminator ECU's intrigue me because you can add a module to control a 4l60 or 4l80.

Thought you were Mr simple? Drum brakes and all....

This is brand new. Holley Terminator X Stealth 4150. They have a Max as well which is what I ordered but cancelled. This is the terminator system but with a new throttle body incorpoeated. I was hoping I could just run a carb intake and slap this on top. Then no visible fuel rails and my caddy air cleaner would bolt right up to it. When I was doing more research, I talked with a Holley dealer who said he could get this to work with my LS but would require me to buy some more stuff as well as mod the harness a little bit. I didn't want to get into that.

It seems Holley has had a steady stream of new products coming out every month. My fingers are crossed they got something for me by June. Otherwise I may have to just continue with my previous plan.

Saw this

and thought of your truck. Maybe you can get some ideas out of it.
That's badass, I like that.

Not much for updates. Just kinda messing around a little. I spent some time cleaning up my 52 Dodge the other day. 1st time I backed that out of the garage since November. So I got a better view of the truck.

The Dodge, all cleaned up and nowhere to go. All the car shows are being cancelled :(

I ordered a bunch of fuel fittings and 20 feet of hose from Hot Rod Fuel Hose. Going to work on that this week. I mocked up the Corvette fuel filter/regulator. And my brother and I took a look at the rear shock situation. I think those should be easy
