You know Darren, for you, maybe it would be easiest/best to do a upgraded TBI motor. Get the L31 long block, make it TBI, and get a custom DYNO TUNED chip for it. I dunno. Could be the Best choice as far as being legal and not really modifying anything.


Ultimately, in the end, i do think you will be most satisfied with the 6.0. I just figured if you werent comfortable with it, you could probably do some pretty good upgrades that would get you by.

I assume none are CARB legal, but I don't know that for certain. EGR is a pain with the Vortec setup, just an FYI.

Darren, if you go 6.0 what if anything must your do with your DRAC?
I think your crazy. Good money at bad. As Chris said, the figure you posted on your other thread is over $1000 more than you need to spend. But, if you just cant bring yoursef to do it, the tbi motors arent the worst thing ever.
