Got any cool tools lately?

That is a sweet setup. I really wish I had more room to have a portable box like that.

I saw them also. I spend about $500 a year on grinding disc's and cut off wheels. These would save a bunch of money if they really work.

I use mine weekly.

Took it on power tour and used it twice on other cars.

I've been watching some YT videos to learn about all the functions, there's some really neat stuff there. I got frustrated with the lights and walked away from it months ago but I'm ready to work on it again and hope this helps track it down.

Anyone tried these diamond cutoff/grinding discs? This particular one has a lifetime warranty. Thinking about it for the business where we go thru quite a few cutoff wheels. https://millnertools.com/products/e...321680489&pr_ref_pid=738940099&pr_seq=uniform

I mentioned these to a friend yesterday, he handed me a Rigid version this morning. Used it on the 16 gauge lean-to braces. Cuts like the fiber style. Did not show any signs of ware after enough cuts to eat up 2 of the other blades. And yes, louder than a concrete saw at full tilt.

I'm still mulling it over. We spent about $120 on cutoff wheels last year.

How much on hearing protection for your crew? You'll need that if you get these cut off wheels

I didn't pay full price but I bought one of these bad dog cutoff wheels almost a year ago at the Tri 5 Nationals in Bowling Green mostly out of frustration and partly as a birthday gift to myself. That was the week I shattered an abrasive disc and damaged my index finger pretty good. It still has some scar tissue in the knuckle. The guy did a demo with it, it's pretty cool. Drill bits look cool too but I didn't buy those. I've used the disc a little bit but I still find myself going back to cut off wheels. They don't cut as fast as a cut off wheel since they're a little thicker. Something to think about. I should probably use it more so I can give it a fair shake.
