Got any cool tools lately?

I try not to miss opportunities to buy new tools when (justified) , and I'll be honest, I did hesitate on this one because it was a small trim job in the bathroom. But....i'm glad i did, this made the job sooo much easier and now I have a cool new tool for other projects.

I got the rigid one and same thing, I love it

Fireball makes so much cool stuff I just can't justify any of it enough to pull the trigger. Like this vise for example... I don't need it and would never use it in the capacity it's designed for, but my goodness I hope Santa puts it under the tree.

yeah $1800.00 for cast iron investments and a few machined parts. Not even cast in America is cast in twain. I have a hard time justifying 300-400 on an American made Wilton or the like. I have had the use of many Wilton vises during my career, I know they good quality and can handle some abuse.

My wife is making me build two floating shelves for our living room. I bought a pair of shepherd's brackets off of Amazon. It came with a drill guide but I had to have a large auger bit. Unfortunately, all of the auger bits of this size are 7/16 shank, which I don't have any drills/drivers that will fit that. Got to doing some digging on Amazon and found this adapter. Price wise not too bad. Also, here's a discount for Kreg tools.

Too good of a deal. Bought two of these to have a 5x10 table.

Didn't know global west was making tools. Bought a pair of their A-arms for my old 67 firebird.. They were pretty fantastic.

Picked this old Craftsman block plane up for $26 at an antique store today. Did a little research and it looks to have been made in 1934!

Sharpened it a little and was cutting ribbons. Gotta clean it up some and really sharpen it but it's in amazing shape.

I've been wanting a good 3/8 electric ratchet. Just seem none of them have any torque. Couple claim 50-60 ftlbs. But the ones that do are brands im skeptical about their accuracy.

It's supposed to cinch down then you torque.
Rigid just came up with the ratchet, I am waiting for the price to go down a bit
