Got any cool tools lately?

Picked up one of these finally.
With the LS based engines you usually measure and set lifter preload by how many turns it takes on the bolt after zero lash to seat the rocker.
It dawned on me that the shaft rocker kit won't allow that method very easy.
This will allow me to get more precise anyway I guess.

I was all set to buy one of them this time last year. Ended up spending more on my skid loader than I thought instead.
Kind of wish id have bought a little less loader and still got the table.

In a professional application it would be priceless. I had forearm pump after applying the first tube with 10 more tubes to go. I like how it backs off the pressure when you release the trigger.
I have had my rigid for a few years and yes my forearms thank me

Went to HF and picked up a needle scaler today.
Man that thing helps!
I got sick of trying to scrap the BS off of this axle.

I've always wanted one, just never got one. And now I can think of a few projects that would have been much simpler if just went and spent the $60.:doah:

I've had one for a couple of decades. The needles are really short now.

Seeing one of those immediately brings to mind the sound of those chipping away paint on the aircraft carrier. Reverberated throughout many decks of the ship and in the dry dock it was a constant din.
