Source for the towels?
Good old amazon. All kinds of colors. I saw them use it on one of those paint channels on YouTube. Paint Society maybe, I can't remember.Source for the towels?
They cost more than I expected. 12ea 10'x 2x4 at $70 and 3 1/2 boxes of deck screws at $12 per box. They are 18"x10", might be a bit small for the K5 and Silverado.I have a lift and still plan on making a set of those lol.
I was looking at getting some hydraulic lift ones but two sets was a bit much and I'd rather put that towards a 2 post.Debating making them out of angle iron instead.
#10 x 2 1/2" deck screwsWhat hardware did you use to fasten that cribbing together?
Decks are active structures, they shouldn't be this brittle.I'd keep an eye on them, I believe deck screws are hardened and prone to fracturing. Simpson-strongtie makes some actual construction screws that 'shouldn't'.
I would be amazed if he cracked any of those #10 deck screws. Those things are stout. I've seen some torture tests online of those. They can hold the weight.I'd keep an eye on them, I believe deck screws are hardened and prone to fracturing. Simpson-strongtie makes some actual construction screws that 'shouldn't'.
It's shear that I worry about but they should be good for thatI would be amazed if he cracked any of those #10 deck screws. Those things are stout. I've seen some torture tests online of those. They can hold the weight.
