I would very much like to see this tool in action !When you get older and your hand strength goes down hill, you adapt. I finished the boat fuel lines. Then bought this.

I've been using Lenox brand with decent results.I need to source some new blades for my HF bandsaw, both blades I have stripped the teeth off at the weld
I love my weedeater. I have the pole saw attachment and extension. So great trimming these old trees around here.I had to borrow a hedge trimmer a couple weeks ago for my tree. Thought, I should get one. Started pulling crabgrass and weeds in my backyard and thought, man I need a weedeater. Checked on Homo Depo and they had some sweet milwaukee deals.
Got this quick-lock string trimmer 8.0 battery combo with a free additional attatchment. (I picked the hedge trimmer).
I just got done kicking the backyards ass!
I was fricking carrying that thing around so proud it may as well been a barrett .50 lol!

Whatever the ratings are for battery powered lawn mowers that have a self-propelled mode, cut the area in half. If you are in good enough shape and enjoy the exercise you can push it yourself and they will cut a half acre easily enough. If you use that self-propelled feature though, those batteries drain FAST!
Granted, my experience is only with the Kobalt 80V using two 4AH batteries. I ran that thing for an entire year cutting our half acre of grass and pushing it myself. Actually half an acre of grass, not the size of our whole lot. Otherwise i'd have to cut the front and back yards separately and charge the batteries in between so I could use the drive mode.
In any case, be weary of the marketing when they say it will cut however large an area, they probably mean WITHOUT using the drive motor.
What is the light?
I buy Milwaukee blades in a 25 pack off of Amazon. Cutting stainless goes through them fast. Cutting mild steel they cut a lot.Probably posted this before but when I first got the Swag table I wasn't that impressed. Then one of the shop guys put a different blade on it and it was night and day difference, big improvement. Mine is set up with the HF band saw and I was using the blade that came with it.

Every brad I have bought seems to have teeth fail at the weld.
I have thought the same thing. But I realize that these saws were developed for rough cuts in the field. Not really precision units. I have had my Milwaukee for 10 years without issue. Use it a minimum of 3 times a week.I just wish someone made an adjustable guide to minimize blade walk.

. Its back to straight now.
