All I have to say is some people should be shot!! as for the people bidding I'd be willing to bet they are from california...land of the Mall crawler pigs.

UMMM No, us Californians dont drive crap like that.

...different strokes for different folks, but looks like a god damn mess of an abortion if you ask me.

Also has about 6" of aluminum wheel spacers front and rear /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Is that a 8 coke can spring lift w/ 6" blocks? /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

I do not know the gear ratios in this truck or some of the details cause I did not have it built

That statement tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about the seller, and the mentality of those who "drive" these things...

It says in the item description that it has a "panic button", is this for when the steering falls apart going down the highway?

I see this truck all the time and it is one scary ass looking ride. On a 6 lane roadway with a 30' median, I pull over to the far right when I see him coming the other way. I don't trust it anywhere near me. I know for a fact the original owner spent over 50K in upgrades for it and I am sure the reserve is near that.

In Texas, there are few lift laws if any. The only one I know of is how high your headlights are. All you have to do is lower them to with-in xx" of the ground and you are good to go if you pass the standard saftey inspection. The saftey inspection just requires you to have responsive/tight steering, good working brakes/e-brake, working lights, f/r license plates, working windshield wipers, good windshield, and more than 3/16" tread depth on your tires. They also check for smog equipment (if required), legal window tint, exhaust stuff, and some others that I can't remember.

The inspection stations are very different and one inspector to the next is different. I once had a guy who would send me inspection stickers in the mail for the price of the sticker($12.50 for non-emissions) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif.

There are a few other things here. Headlight AND Tailight specifics. Exhaust specifics and some other things that can be gotten around easily!!

Truthfully , look at the work, from what can be seen from a picture it doesn't look that bad. Hydro assist would be a big plus. The headlights are lowered the tailights are lowered and the exhaust looks lower but I would bet it is at the max heigth.
I say bring down closer to the tires and it is a cool looking rig.
Just my .02

Ya, it could loose about a foot of lift and still look good.

It looks like it has been relisted with no reserve...

it could lose about a foot of lift and look decent.it would still have good enuf clearance to use it off road.it would still be top heavy of coarse.10 foot center of gravity is scary.my truck with 5 inch lift and 35's sways a little around corners when going fast.i wonder how much boat sway it has going around corners. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

this thing should have a warning "Mall crawling not to exceed 5mph" /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
