Got my dream!

Hi dieselponyexpress
I know we could talk in German here, but would not be fair for our American buddies!

Yes, the car has been rebuilt, as i can read from the papers of the ex-owners, the car had an accident and has been build up again after that, the car was already 2 years ago for sale on the Internet, and by that I wanted the car, but someone came before me, and now I own it, sometimes you need luck. :)

I know the price is perfect, it made the decision for it easier. Thanks for the congrats...

Hey Gamma,

sweet K5, greetings from Germany ;-) For parts and such, just try out:

lmctruck.com, classicindustries.com, cheyenne pickup parts, rockauto, classicparts.com and -most important- ebay.com . I've made a lot of great deals the past years, especially on ebay.com. If you order a lot of parts at one time you can save quite much on shipping. At present the dollar is relatively weak compared to the euro so you can save quite a lot of money. Buying over here -mostly- is expensive, that is true. The only shop that's ok in my opinion is uspartsonline.de as they really have reasonable prices. Maybe you should consider buying a parts manual, if you have the correct part numbers of the things you need it is very easy to find these parts and compare prices & get good deals.

Greetings from Germany (Bavaria)

Flo

p.s.

BTW: if you want make an easy $ just get a cheap K5 in decent shape, part it out and sell the parts on ebay (all across Europe) YOu won't believe how much $$ you can make with an old C/K series truck :bow::bow:

Hi Flo

Ok, enough in German, sorry guys, hope you don't mind that we spoke a bit in our native language. Flo just gave me advice how to find cheap parts in the US, as Europe is not really affordable for it...

yep I could, but for me fender flares is a no go, it just doesn't look right to me...

really ... I like them... but to each is their own...
