:doah: thought it would come out better, have to fix it.

made a rear bumper tonight with a hitch reciever in it, and got rear shocks on. it's getting there, i'd like to wheel a little bit before thanksgiving and deer season.

wow it's coming along nicly. and i would have to say your wheel and tire combo is gonna work real well, lol but its lookin good! i like it.

ya, i gotta get the boggers on it, it looks terrible sitting on those. thought about putting my 39.5 tsl's on it, but then i might not want to take them off.

here's some crappy pics from tonight. trimmed up the fenders and put the wheelin tires on. got half the exhaust fixed, get to the other side tomorrow.

where did you trim the fenders? Still looks like old mother rust did it for ya. Although it might be a blessing... trim that rust off and put something under it that's more than 40"... then it'll look super clean!

i trimmed off the front fang and the bottom corner behind the wheel. i just hacked'em up. i have a good set of front fenders so this was just a quick job.

what size are the boggers on there now?
build is looking good! :waytogo:

got a little problem. the 465 jumps out of 2nd (on the stick) when decelerating. anything i can do while it's still in there? other wise i'll just swap in another after my buddy gets his car lift installed. gotta seal up the t-case and twin stick in anyway while it's out.

Something to be careful with on the tank straps, I had on break on my '84 and it rubbed on the rear drive line. You will want to replace the rusted ones asap, I almost had catastrophic failure.

And removing the tank requires a floor jack and some 2x12 :)

thanks, but we already are done messing with the straps. they were in good condition so we kept the originals.

haven't done anything to it or with it since i had it out wheeling a while back. just moving it around out of the way. i do have a list or small normal stuff that needs done. it definitly needs a locker though. this past weekend we crawled a little hard hill in my 85 truck that is locked front and rear, where we had screwed around for 5 minutes and numerous attemps with the K5.

the 85 k20, i bought from a guy in greensburg. the k5 came from a guy in allison park route 8 area.
