So here’s an update for y’all I got the clip bolts off and hopefully will have it pulled tomorrow I’m pulling it all in once peice and I’m not nearly strong enough alone so waiting for my dads help and another friend also will have front tires back on for the time being tomorrow @Bent77 here you go

Brake lines aren't too bad. I grew up in WI and every vehicle I had in high school would blow a brake line due to rust. I got ok at replacing everything. I would buy the premade lines at the parts store(I had no clue about flaring lines) and swap them in using unions where needed. If you don't have one already find a good parts store with guys that know what they are doing and can help get you the right parts. It's hard now days. Every parts store has all the clueless kids like yourself working there that haven't learned yet. Take it slow and plan on learning a lot with your truck. I know I sure did back in high school.

Hold on I'm confused. What line is bad? The metal brake lines that run from the master cylinder down the frame and then connect to the rubber hoses or the rubber hose that goes from the bracket on the frame to the caliper or down to the axle in the rear?

Take pictures of what you need replaced. The front clip is not hard at all to pull off- 6 bolts for the hood, a few on each fender, two on the bottom of the rad support, some wiring pigtails, and you are out.

Do the brake lines while the motor is out- it will be way easier to get to, and clean it up while you're at it.

The lines I was talking about are in the new pics I posted

I have one of them still on the motor and thats the other new one I refreshed both they where starting to go. But my friend asked me if he could have the old ones and since he got me these and built for pretty much free I said sure

I'd really like to replace most of the bottom end like shackles etc with ORD stuff when I can get the money for it i'd also like to get the blocks out of my rear and new motor mounts possibly

One piece at a time. You'll get there. Oh and my advice from past experience is to stick with one or two vehicles and don't get sidetracked by others. Keep what you got and you can turn it into something awesome. I got sidetracked by other projects too many times and wasted alot of money.

It was a joke. You're engine would be well blown by 9800 rpm. 5k is a good round number but I wouldn't hang out there very long with a reasonably stock motor.
