....but the cop was cool and only gave me one fix it ticket instead of 10
. But the suspension was pretty good. Really bumpy tho and it seemed like at times the rear was hopping. Not sure if the rear was actually hopping or if it was just the suspension. Any insight on this as I've never actually experienced this first hand before? Thanks fellas! So finally got the blaze registered this morning and spent all day redoing my rear axle swap and SUA rear suspension. Went out for the first drive tonight and of course, get pulled over........but the cop was cool and only gave me one fix it ticket instead of 10

That's funny. The fact your owning up to it is even more awesome.
Once some years ago we were ready to start tearing a brand new motor out of a car. Buddies dad came out and mentioned we might should hook the battery cables up.
We were also dead tired

Mass attack of oh chit...
(been there)

Any luck figuring it out!?

Yeah! I'm still messing with the shackle angles and hangar placement/gusseting. I'll post some pics when I get it all dialed in.
But the original problem that was resulting in the rear hopping and making noise was I didn't tighten the U-bolts after I put the wheels back on which caused the axle to move which then caused the welds to break on one of the spring perchesbut gusseted and re welded the perches on the axle, and now mounting the spring hangars down lower on the frame for increased ride height in the rear without as much sag.
