Holset HE351CW using 6.5 parts and 6.2 longblock

Two options come to mind:
  1. Wait for a 6.5 or Banks manifold
  2. Fab up some 180* headers and a bundle of snakes
David
The voice of reason got the best of me.. while a bundle of snakes would be cool and the hotrod in me wants to know what that would sound like.. I'm taking the well traveled route.. it works for lots of guys already

Good plan. You've already got a few project trucks going, and this allows Ethel to continue being a runner and DD.

Thanks David, your right and I also have 2x trucks being linked this month, so to say I am busy is an understatement. I don't want to rush and create problems but I also don't have any time that I can really "waste" on fabrication if I can readily purchase the parts for cheap.. ironically the guy I just bought that exhaust from has 3 other 6.5 diesels so I am going to buy the intake manifold and plenum as well if he lets it go reasonable.

The turbo I have is a stock HE351CW from a 06 cummins pickup. It has some miles so I gotta rebuilt it. I also need to figure out how to route my intake tube because it has an outlet with the 90 degree elbow. @GWeakland620

That I am not sure of yet.
I got ahold of the seller and managed to get the intake and plenum and the cdr for 120.

I will be watching this closely. I happen to have a turbo also off an '06 Dodge that needs to be rebuilt that I was thinking of using someday. It was dusted from a dirty air filter on an oil field truck. What will you do about the wastegate solenoid?

Solenoid will stay, from my reading when there is no voltage it opens the wastegate at 20psi which is a good safety net just in case it somehow has the fuel to spool it beyond what I want, I honestly like the idea of an electronic boost control because I can dial in whatever I want, that being true as long as the wastegate is able to flow enough to stay open at the lower boost levels, I'll probably port the WG hole open more which seems to help with drive pressures and egt which are big deals on the 6.2 anyway.

It is a t3 non divided housing and should bolt up, I believe a stud may need to be removed but other than the outlet for the compressor side( cold side) pointing at the fender it would require minor mods to run one.

Yeah just cut it, rotate 180 or whatever and weld back together.
